ruckus scooter question by C. Redfield: If you mod a 49cc scooter increasing it’s horsepower will you then be required to have a motorcycle license?
I’m considering buying a Honda Ruckus. I just want to check if I were to mod it via exhaust, speed variator kit, drop in air filter etc. If that would compromise the not needing a motorcycle license.

Nope, nobody knows what you do to it. Modifications are illegal and nearly undetectable. You’re good man.
