I am thinking about getting a Yamaha Zuma scooter to ride year round.?
Zuma Scooter question by Shnookah: I am thinking about getting a Yamaha Zuma scooter to ride year round.?
I would drive on average a total of five miles a day 365 a year unless classes are cancelled. I live in Iowa City. Is this doable? Advice from people who’ve done it?
Yeah it would be in the snow. I am also considering a Ninja 250 because fuel economy and ground clearance are basically the same as the zuma. In inclement weather I would only be traveling two miles twice a day, and I would never be on a road that permits speed over 25mph.

Absolutely…better buy rain gear and a thick layer of Gortex if you plan on winter driving…(snow?)
keep it maintained as far as service intervals and a scooter will last a long time.
